DECISION OF KIB ELECTION COMMISSION

Meeting held on 20th October 2025 at 1030 hrs at KIB Board Room

After reviewing the progress of the voter registration, it is revealed that the progress is not satisfactory despite of all efforts by the KIB authority. Out of about 33,000 possible members KIB had only 13,791 updated voters of 2018 voter list. Since then, no fresh voter was registered till 2024.

In February 2025 the process of enlisting started again and till date 8,611 including life members have been registered as voters which is approximately 26% of the total members.

Therefore, to facilitate voter registration and to ensure inclusive vote, the deadline for voter registration needs more time & which could be till 30th November 2025 as per the decision of the election commission. After that the election commission will decide the next course of action.
